Growing up as an undiagnosed child with ADHD, I developed an unhealthy relationship with food, particularly sugary treats. My brain constantly sought that instant, brief dopamine spike from food. This significantly contributed to my childhood obesity.
My fitness journey began when I noticed the impact of my regular runs, which I started during my university years. Not only did they help me manage my mood, think more clearly, and stay focused, but they also boosted my energy levels, improved my overall fitness, and even helped me sleep better at night.
